Background and Experience:

For over twenty years Zach has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop sound strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs.  With extreme experience throughout major shifts in the markets, Zach has dedicated his career to delivering the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.  Since 2018 he has been recognized as a part of the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network Platinum Council. 

The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) is a distinction held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network as measured by completion of educational components, prior year business production, and professionalism.  Additional criteria, best practices and team structure may also be used to determine award recipients. 

Zach joined A.G. Edwards and Sons Inc., a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2003 to take a more comprehensive approach in providing personalized financial advice for individuals and families.  In  2004, Zach earned the ACCREDITED ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, awarded by the College for Financial Planning, for professionals who successfully complete a self-study program, pass an exam, and agree to comply with a code of ethics. 

Zach’s passion for learning and teaching grows daily.  He earned his bachelor’s degree at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, and has spoken regularly to groups and investment clubs across Texas and New Mexico, educating investors.  Spending a semester in Oxford, London for Financial Planning studies gave him an additional passion for the trade.  While there, he travelled to numerous countries within the Financial Planning Development Group, with classes in Spain, France, and Switzerland. 
 

Away from the Office: 

Zach spends his free time with his two children, Jackson and Savannah and his wife Sarah.  He likes to stay active by skiing and rock climbing.  Zach is active in his local church and is passionate about supporting the local animal shelters.

Background and Experience:

Jennifer has been helping clients develop sound financial strategies for their individual needs for over 20 years.

Beginning her career in the financial services industry as an Investment Advisor in 1998 at PaineWebber, she quickly realized it was important to help her clients understand the “rules of the road” by first establishing a firm investment plan, not just focusing on investment products.

In 2002, while at UBS PaineWebber, she obtained her Supervisory Series 9 / 10 licenses, taking on the role of Operations Manager, which allowed her to service both International and Domestic clients. It was built upon this strong operational and management background that Jennifer creatively connected the operational and management sides of the business, leading her to develop even more personally crafted solutions for her clients.

In 2010, she was blessed with the opportunity to join her current business partner as a Financial Advisor for Wells Fargo Advisors. This step in her career added a new dimension to her ability to better provide her clients with personalized financial guidance and investment planning, built upon the solid relationships she has continued to provide to her clients and their families all throughout her career.
 

About Jennifer:

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Texas Pan American (now UTRGV).

Jennifer resides in Harlingen, TX with her husband Jeff and their four children Thomas, Anne Marie, Mary Catherine, and Joseph.

Away from the office, Jennifer loves to read, watch her kids participate in sports, and give back to her community. Her Faith is first and foremost in her life, and it is her continual hope that that she can be a blessing to others.

With more than 23 years of financial services experience, Melissa understands the value of trust and building relationships with clients.  She handles the day-to-day administration of accounts and looks for opportunities to put a smile on clients’ faces.  She is a lifelong resident of the Rio Grande Valley and loves to travel but also enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter in the community that she loves.

Joe Gonzales serves as a client service and operations specialist for Wells Fargo Advisors.  With financial industry knowledge and experience dating back to 2010, he is focused heavily with a “Client First” mentality, with strong leadership and communication skills. He enjoys new challenges and working with the team to accomplish goals and an efficient work process.  Joe would be described as a person that is always willing to help the team and figure out creative ways to solve problems.

Joe has called many places his home over the years but New Mexico is where his heart is.  As an avid outdoorsmen, you will find him trail running, hiking, backpacking and fishing when he is out of the office.  He also enjoys his downtime whether that being going to the movies, helping his friends or relaxing reading a book.

Joe attended the University of Connecticut and the University of New Mexico and has his bachelor’s degree in Criminology.  Joe also has his series 7 and series 66 securities registrations and is insurance licensed in the state of New Mexico.
